In order to further open up Nanjing to the foreign countries, to encourage Nanjing’s the enterprises to go out, to help the Nanjing enterprises understand the European market, to know the European legal policy, to apply international venture capital to the enterprise for speeding up the enterprises to develop, and to impels the Nanjing enterprise to the Europe stock market, Nanjing Municipal Service Center For Foreign Investment has held "2007 Sino-Netherlands business trade exchange conference at Nanjing” on March 26 in Xuanwu Hotel.The six foreign entrepreneur representatives at this conference were Holland Loenermark International Inc. President Mr. Lei Ye, Holland ING Group Director for Chinese Branch Mr. Ma Jinyu, Deputy Director of International listings, Head of China Business Development of Euronext Mr. Pan Kang as well as the Dutch Flevum Organization, Holthuis International lawyer, Ernst & Young Accountants’ Capital Market Desk. The Nanjing major industries, the economic development zone as well as the foreign trade companies also sent the representatives. Nearly more than 100 people attended the conference.

The Nanjing municipal party committee member, deputy mayor- Mr Jin Daoqiang attended the conference, and gave an opening speech. Depute Director of Bureau of Foreign Trade and Economic, Nanjing Municipality, Mr. Hao Jian introduced Nanjing investment environment to the visiting European entrepreneurs. The foreign representatives from Holland Loenermark International Inc. President Mr. Ye Lei, from Dutch Flevum Organization Mr. Dim J. Baars, from Deputy Director of International listings, Head of China Business Development of Euronext Mr. Pan Kang also spoke at the meeting. Many issues such as how to enter the European market for the Chinese enterprises, how to get to know the European legal policy, and how to use International risk capital etc. were discussed and the analyzed. After the meeting, the Nanjing enterprises who were interested in going to the Euronex immediately had discussions with the foreign entrepreneurs.

The foreign entrepreneurs visited the Nanjing Jiangning economic development zone on 27th of March, and were impressed by Nanjing's economical development and the foreign capital utilization. They also visited the electric light manufacture located in the Zone and had a detailed discussion on many aspects how to get into the Euronext. In the afternoon the foreign guests visited the Nanjing urban construction exhibit where they had known of Nanjing's urban construction and the entire plan. They were impressed with Nanjing's urban construction and the future plan development.

In recent years, more and more economics and trade cooperation between Dutch and Nanjing's enterprises has been carried out. More than 29 Dutch enterprises including Royal Shell Oil Company petroleum, Phillips, Akzo Nobel from S&P 500 have invested in Nanjing, a total of registration foreign capital 890 million US dollars. Until the end of 2006, Nanjing has exported goods to Holland with the value up to 521 million US dollars. At the same time, import from Holland to Nanjing has reached to 150 million US dollars.

Through this exchange, the Dutch visitors indicated to establish a closer relation with Nanjing Municipal Service Center For Foreign Investment, and positively to further the bilateral exchange and the cooperation. They will promote more exchanges between Dutch enterprise and the Nanjing local enterprises’ economy and the trade.
